Louie Vuitton bags

Yessss!! I'm addicted, obsessed, whatever you want to call it!! The Speedy was my first Louis ever!! I got the 25 then because that was all I could afford. The 30 is a great size. The 40 is huge! I call it my luggage! DH got me the Speedy in the Damier Azur (white checkerboard) as my wedding gift. I had wanted the 35 but he got the 40! I love it! It can fit ANYTHING, but it's really big and excessively deep. I love big bags so I'm cool with it, but I think the 30 is a great size to start with.

What color were you thinking of? Traditional print (called monogram canvas)? Brown checkerboard (Damier Ebene)? White checkerboard (Damier Azur)? Or the luxe all leather ribbed Epi? One amazing thing about the Louis Vuitton line of bags, is they last FOREVER. They just get better and better with age and time. They are surprisingly rugged and resilient, and will stand the test of time. They are worth every penny! You can have new handles put on after every 10-12 years or so. I like my handles dark, they don't bother me one bit. They also are great about fixing things, my big croissant bag started to come unstitched after less than a year, and they took it back and had it re-stitched for free.

If and when you do decide to buy a bag (which you should!!) make sure you buy it ONLY at a Louis Vuitton store, like the Americana in Manhasset, or any of the NYC Stores. NOT in a Macy's LV Boutique. It's still considered a Macy's purchase. DH got me a wallet that I wanted to exchange for a different style (he wanted to get me new wallet in the Azur so he got the same one I had in the monogram). The Americana store wouldn't exchange it because it was over a certain amount of time, and mainly because it was from Macy's. DH had bought it way before the wedding even, and given it to me the night before. By the time we were back from the honeymoon and I went to exchange it, it had been too long, and since it wasn't purchased there they couldn't do anything about it. I was pretty upset, especially because I told DH many times before that he should always go to Americana, they have me in their computer, etc etc. Anyhoo, I hope this has helped somewhat!! I had one two years ago(I cant remember the name but it had the clasp on the outside and bucket look) and I was not happy with it.

I loved it at first and then it began to shred (the inside stitching)

I wrote to the company and they were WONDERFULLL about it and refunded my money.

The company is great with that. They would rather have pos feedback and lose a couple of bucks than have their bags out there that may be defective. Although I never bought another, I do reccomend the bags. I probably just had a bad one

Ahhhh thank you girls!! Now I'm excited to get it!! I still have some saving to do, but I will get it. I think I'm gonna go for the Speedy 30.

Allegra--it's the monogram canvas one that I want. The traditional one. I do love the checkerboard one as well, the white or the brown!! Thanks for the tip, bc I was going to go to Bloomingdales at Roosevelt Field mall and get it or order it from the Louie Vuitton website which has free shipping. Now I'm so so excited, I had to convince DH that I needed to have this bag lol. Thanks again for the tips!!

Loooove the Papillon!!! Love that the 30 (I think) comes with a tiny mini Papillon!!!

I would love to get one but I am way too broke! Maybe when we get our tax return I will treat myself since DH is convinced he is getting yet ANOTHER lap top...Apparently 4 computers between the 2 of us just isn't enough!
