Is it common for Macys to charge more in the store for Bridal registry items then it does online. I just checked my friends registry to make sure that the items that I purchased were removed from the registry and I saw that two of the items that I purchased were less money online then what I paid in the store.
That is very common with them. Items are often cheaper (sometimes 50% less) online than in the stores.
Maybe an online only sale? I thought the sales were usually in store and online...
I would say something. I bought something for my friend off her registry and it was more in the store then it was online so I told the lady and she charge me the online price. HTH
Yea...the store and the online MACYS are actually two different departments. stinks but true. When we had some issues awhile back it was explained. Thats why you can get some 'exclusives' online that you cannot get in the store. Both macys and yes you can return stuff from macys.com at the store, but its two seperate entities joined by one name. And yes sometimes they have sales that apply only to online BUT the flip side is most of the coupons you get in the mail ONLY apply to the store, not MACYS.com.

Actually I was also told that Macy's will actually honor any price for an item that you can find published, even if it's not from Macy's....I've never tried to do it, but like if something is at Kohl's cheaper and you have proof, supposedly they will honor that price!
