made the switch to fios

I can't wait to get HGTV and Food Network back. I'm saving a ton of $$ too for more channels AND DH will be able to watch Dexter again because we're getting Showtime.

It's being installed on Tues the 26th!

They should hire me to do the commercial.

I seriously am ready to kill myself without HGTV and FN.

I wanted to have it installed when we first moved but I didn't have a free weekend and wasn't able to take a day off to wait for the technician so we got cable until we were ready to make the switch.

I'm so excited. Of course I'll have to learn all new channel numbers but it's worth it!

We're thisclose to switching too. Besides the fact that the only two channels we watch are gone, the HD box is friggen ridiculously slow and since day 1 of having our new phone number we've been harassed by a survey firm, and we've had it! DH is going to start looking in to the switch, but I'm leery because I've heard overall it's more expensive and has more taxes and fees, bah.

Ive had FIOS since July and LOVE IT and would never switch back.....they are so helpful with everything and call to check up on you. THe hardest part is getting used to where the channels are

I had cable for 10 years living in my apt and it was way more expensive than FIOS. I wanted to switch then but it wasn't available in my apt. complex.

We're getting more channels and it's still costing us $30 a month less than cable. I was so fed up with the box being so slow. The only thing is they wanted to charge us a $400 deposit. I called and fought it though (I've always had a verizon home phone and so has DH and we have great credit scores) so they waived it.
