Makeup

What kind of eyeshadow do you use?
I want to find some that is vibrant and lasts.
I'm tired of the cheapy stuff!
Any suggestions?

I use Bare Escentuals. I love it, and it stays on all day. A new store just opened up in Smithaven across from Willams Sonoma.

MAC. Just be careful with the colors bc sometimes they can look a bit 'drag queenish'. They last alllllll day which is great.

try mac pigments a little goes a long way and if u want it more intense just add more

i use lancome & mac- both last the whole day for me- I do use a eye make-up base to keep it in place because I have oily lids later in the day- you may want to try that- I use almays

M.A.C is my absolute favorite. I don't have any issues with it. I do have one Smashbox eyeshadow that is pretty good, no complaints yet. Other than that, I use Este Lauder that I got when I went to the warehouse sale and I got a tonnnn of makeup. That is also pretty decent.

Also, I think MAC still does the 'bring back 2 empty eyeshadows and you get one free' or you get a certain percentage off your next purchase. I finally have 2 empty ones that I am holding onto just to bring back lol I hope they still do that!

I use covergirl. I don't wear a lot of makeup and when I do it's only for a few hours so I use that.

I use bare essentials-I use an eyeshadow primer first. I get the bare essentials brand one but I know that urban decay makes an awesome one too.

That store opened a week before my wedding-I was in there a few days before for last minute makeup. I worked at that WS and was waiting for it to open for months.

me three! totally mac addict here. some of the colors are very strong but they can always be blended and muted down. what kind of colors do you wear? lately i've been very into browns and golds and just bought some from mac.

Urban decay -- members of my swim team used it all the time because this stuff stayed on no matter what.

bare escentuals eyeshadow is AWESOME because u can make it as soft or as bold as u want depending on ur application...u never really get too much or too little.. sweeping will comletely sheer it, packing will make it super intense. DEFINETLY do not go without the primetime eyes. a TEENY tiny bit smeered over the entire lid will keep ur shadow in place untill u wake up in the morning!

I accidentally went to bed without washing my face last night! But I remembered you can actually sleep in the makeup. I LOVE THIS STUFF!
