Where did everyone make copies of their wedding pics for family and friends? I went to CVS but I wasn't crazy about the quality and they were way too expensive. Does Kinkos or Staples do this and is it cost effective? I wanted to make an album for my parents of all the pics they couldn't put in the album because there were just too many!

Re: Making copies of wedding photos
I made memory books through Snapfish. I scanned in the photos and then used their memory book creator to drag and drop the pictures on different pages to create mini albums. They came out beautifully.

Re: Making copies of wedding photos
I was thinking my only option was Snapfish but I need to find a scanner first. I have one at work but don't have enough time to scan ALL those pictures and my other option is my mother in laws but then she'll want to be involved and it would be really chaotic. Thanks for the input!

You can actually take the pictures to a duane reade cvs, etc and scan them on to a disk and then do it your self.. It may take you a couple of trips if you have a lot but it will not be as expensive..and then you will always have them on disk also.. If not I know rite aid has the 8*10 sheets on sale this week buy one get one free and you can do liek 4 pics at a time..

I went to Walmart, it was very cheap to enlarge photos.

Not be sound harsh but I feel like it ***** that you have to bother with this. If you had digital files that you owned, you'd be ready to go on this. Anyway, so I assume you like your pictures and that I should not make an issue of it.
Soooo, I bet Kinkos would do what you need. Or possibly even a small independet copy store (thougg could be more expensive).

Re: Making copies of wedding photos
I made some at CVS this weekend. They came out pretty good. they have an editing tool that you can use to sharpen the picture and boost the colors a bit - and they are having a 2 for 1 sale right now.
Once i get the CD of the proofs then I will use snapfish.

What about a shop that specializes in photography? They may charge a bit more than CVS, but they will probably do a better job.

Have you tried motophoto. There are a couple of locations and they make really good prints.

just be careful where u take the proofs to be scanned. some of them won't do it due to copyright laws
