SO, I got an album from my photographer, but we did not get parent albums. I want to make them for my parents and my IL's for christmas.
ANy advice on which site is best for this? Did you use photoshop to make pages and then upload them, or just put pictures on the page?
Ahh, this is why I chose to buy my album.

Re: Making your own album
I did my parent albums through shutterfly. They have templates right there- all you have to do is load your pics to shutterfly, and then choose the layout template for each page (one pic, two pics, three, etc), then you add the pics from your shutterfly account and insert them into the template. Really easy! Quality was good and really affordable too. If you want to go fancier though, I'm sure there are other sites.

I used mypublisher to make my dad's album. it was so simple to do. like shutterfly, the layout is there and you just drop your pics where you want them. and they always have awesome coupons.

I used Shutterfly also just to make a Classic book up. I got a free coupon from David's Bridal for a free classic book and decided to try them. It was so easy to do and alot to choose from and you can put as many pages as you want up to 100. I am going to keep using them for other things too like prints and more books. They always have great discounts too.

I also used Mypublisher and the albums came out great! Very affordable too.

Re: Making your own album
I wanted old-school albums with picture corners.... so all our albums (ours, and our parents) came from aspinal of london .
I bought 2 sand colored suede albums for our parents, and put in the pictures with silver picture corners. they came out great....
Picaboo and blurb are the 2 I have heard alot about lately

Re: Making your own album
We used MYPublisher for our parents and Picaboo for our own-picaboo is more expensive but I found them easier to use, better quality and their customer service is out of this world.
u can see our album pages in my album.-those were picaboo-better options. I love our album and the padded keather cover just looks professiona-it wa s like 80 bucks after our coupon and 62 pages. I used most of their layouts but for a few I made my own in Photoshop-for blended styles and things like that. FM me if you need more info.
For basic, mypublisher is good and they give you great coupons-we had a buy one, get same book free.
