Re: Man....

i just started this last week to keep track of what I'm sticking in my mouth (keep your minds out of the gutter pervies

how many do you get per day? I get 19! I'm ready to die! I'm only doing ww online, no meetings or anything. i can't believe one cup of the cereal I eat w/ milk is like 6 pts! yesterday I smartened up, had salad w/ balsamic vinegar for lunch- only 2.5 pts!

I get 20. I have been trying to eat more points during the day so I don't go overboard at dinner.

DH also just bought that book 'Eat This Not That' - it's pretty good!

I do WW online too- althought I think I do better at meetings bc it forces me to get on the scale.

Me too. I have a digital scale that is about a 10 pound difference (in the wrong direction) from my regular one.

Guess who has been lugging around a digital scale asking people to get on and 'tell me if its right'

Re: Man....

btw, this guy I work with gets wayyyyy more points- like 40 a day.....I guess b/c he's a guy, and he's a lot bigger than me. it's funny how they calculate it. If I had 40 points, I'd still be eating everything under the sun!

Re: Man....

Well I hope the digital scale is wrong!!! I wrote a big thread about it on LIF lol.

WW online is good if you don't have time to go to meetings. There are a lot of recipes on it and message boards.

Meetings are good bc you acutally have to get on a scale and not allowed to trim the weight lol. Also it is good motivation to keep going and hear othee ideas!

I get 20, too. thank god for those 35 extra. Actually this week I'm doing core to shake things up a little. I love core--no counting! But it gets difficult with my work events, so I can't really stay on it for the long term.
I go to mtgs...I need the accountability and I always find the meetings helpful and motivating.

I was looking at weight watchers online since I have been kind of sort of following the points program.

They have this question

The following question is for women only:
Are you pregnant? yes no

thats why i had to stop for a while. i got so frustrated with feeling so hungry at the end of the day. i def need more discipline with it. ive been paying for the online thing and havent used it in like 2-3 mos.

Re: Man....

just FYI- certain progresso soups (dont know if you like soup) are 0 WW pts for half a can and theyre pretty big cans. if you do that and salad and drink lotsa water for a snack or meal during the day it can fill you up a bit without really being any pts! not the most satisfying meal/snack but what can ya do!?

i have a digital one too and i always think its wrong cuz there's no way that # could possibly be so high, but i put my 10 lb. dumbbell on it to make sure. (sometimes it actually is off by 2-3 lbs.)
