So for all you long-time NW, how long does it take the State of NY to send us our license? We're trying to figure out our paperwork and my name change but CAN'T until that paper comes. TIA

Takes about a week to 2 to receive the certificate back. It all depends upon when your officiant mailed the license to the state.

it didn't take long after the wedding, 2-3 weeks at the most!

I got married the day before you and I received within the week. It was postmarked 4/29.

Hmmm, I have a tracking number that my officiant gave us and have not heard a peep from the state. I'd really like to get this in gear, guess I got to make some calls. Thanks ladies!

When I went they told me they suddenly got backed up and it might take up to 8 weeks!
