Ok, ladies, I know it hasn't been that long, but I'm burnt. What exactly do you need to bring when you go for your marriage license? My sister and her fiance are looking to get married at my Mom's house with a simple ceremony.
All we needed was our driver's lic.

Lisence and thats it. And if you want to order extra copies ( we have 6) you can do it on online. REALLY quick and easy.
Thanks, ladies. They're trying to set something up for either the 1st or 2nd of February. I'm waiting to hear back from Pastor Mike (who married DH & I) to see if he's available. This way they're married before the baby comes in July. And they'll have the big wedding another time.

i think in the city--queens and nyc you just need your license.
but for out here in suffolk---they required a license AND your original birth certificate with the raised seal.
