May I share some great news?
Donna's Sister, Debi, a 2008 CLM Bride, just called me, to say she is one of 10 applicants, to be accepted to the Masters Program, for Guidance Counseling, at Millersville University, for next fall!!!! It's a prayer answered, in that she was was told she's losing her job, that she's had for seven yrs. on June 30th.
Other great news: Donna and Josh are moving to their new house on March 26th!!
They're very excited, and have been picking floor covering, paint colors, etc. I will be helping them with sprucing up their old apt., before moving, while my Husband is helping lay the flooring and finish the basement in their new place.
My current 'project' if you will, is getting my Mom, 'Cupcake' settled in a nursing home, and cleaning out her apt.. She's adjusting nicely!! Her girlhood friend is also there, and they've been dining together.
My next project in April/May, is helping Debi, at her kids camp, that she has had the last seven yrs. I'm crafts director. We usually prepare for over a 1000 kids, coming to camp, over the course of three weeks. Told Debi, to please not choose a craft that requires water or little beads rolling off the tables!!!!!
And last, but not least, I thank THE LORD that Our Son, who has a permanent diagnosis of fibromyalgia, with his joints popping out occasionally, because of a runaway horse going through the windshield of his car, finally, after almost six yrs. had his accident settlement and plans to be receiving the money that hopefully will help him move on with his life; He's been living with us since the accident, unable to afford to move to his own place. He does have a job, but currently is unable to use his graphics design degree. He had just graduated from college before the accident. Our prayer was that THE LORD show fairness to both our Son, and the owners of the horse, in determining the settlement amount. And, while we're happy this waiting is over, the amount of money was very disappointing, but we'll accept THE LORD'S decision. I told our Son, that GOD can still bless him. The settlement does not seem enough for his medical expenses for the rest of his life, when one considers the costs involved in therapy, etc., nor can he go out and buy a house, or even rent a decent apt. And you know how much rent costs these days. Never-the-less, GOD is good all the time, and HIS MERCIES fail not!!!!
Miss all of you, my extended 'Daughters', and pray trhat all of you will be Blessed Abundantly!!!!! If you're going through a rainy season, like we just went through, be encouraged!!! Just as the words to Cynthia Clawson's song, 'It Won't Rain Always', you will eventually 'see the sun, that was there all the time!!!!!' THE LORD loves you SO MUCH!!!!!! And so do I!!!!!!
