Maybe you ladies can help...
As some of you know, we live in CT but I commute to LI every day. My office is based in Bethpage but I travel all over LI, so some days I start there, some days it could be Manhasset, and other days as far out as Bridgehampton. DH works in the city.
DH and I are looking to rent an apartment or house. We were hoping for a lease starting around September, and maybe a 6 month lease with possibility to extend.
We were looking at Long Beach, but would also consider other towns that are near a train and also near water (i.e. Wantagh, Huntington, Cold Spring Harbor, etc.) We need at least two bedrooms and hopefully some form of yard, and pet friendly (we have a WELL behaved golden retriever).
Thought someone on here might be able to help. Or point us in the right direction. We are hoping to avoid paying a fee.
