Hey ladies, I was wondering if anyone here owned either of these car models and if so if they would mind sharing pluses and negatives about there ownership experience and any reliability issues? TIA! I'm trying to decide on my next car!

Hi Sweetie I have a 2008 CX-7 Grand Touring Package And I LOVE IT!!!
ESpecially when we had that snow a couple weeks back, I felt so Safe. It Drove soo Good in the Snow & Rain. I Love the AWD.
My IL's have a CX-9. If you are looking for the 3rd row seating than I would go for the 9. It is alittle bit bigger with Bigger Nice Rims, but it is just as Good as the 7. But than Again I am Biase.
Mazda's are Good Cars that Hold There Value.

thanks for the informatoin. I test drove both yesterday and they were both great. I just read the consumer reports issue the other day and it said the reliability on the CX-7 wasn't so great, so thanks for the wonderful opinions (it's always better to get real world advice as oppose to magazine poll)! They are both gorgeous automobiles.

ABSOUTELY LOVE my cx-7!!!
the car drives amazingly!
DH had a testosterone surge when we were at a dog park last weekend and sunk it into the mud up to the chasis!! I got it out in a bout 2 tries!!! THe car is FREAKING amazing!
I have the grand touring model so the car is fully loaded with all weather mats, leather and the navigation package!
the 2007 Model required premium gas for the turbo engine but this years model they hae modified the engine and you can use regular gas! So bonus for you if you get one! I'm still stuck paying premium prices but I wouldn't trade this car in for the world!!

Also, car and driver magazine is long term testing the 2007 model. They have been actively testing it for a year now and the initial reports are excellent!

My girlfriend has one of them and it is the most amazing truck I have EVER been in!!! It's suped up with feature like her navagation systems hooks up to her cell earpiece and it comes thru in the speakers... it's awesome
