Meg 9-20-02

I saw in your post that you also stayed at the Palazzo Sasso, actually I think I may have talked to you in the past about Italy. We also LOVED it there, and want to go back!
A few things:
1) Don't you wish you were at the pool right now eating those wonderful fruit kabobs they bring to you?
2) Or maybe you would prefer there roof top jacuzzi and the amazing view?
3) Tonight, wouldn't you love a weather report on your pillow with a plate of goodies?
4) Did you go to the restaurant in town where the 'mother' wrote up the bill? Let's see if you can guess how much it is?
I absolutly loved the little caper looking things they gave you every time you got a drink!
AAHH, Ravello...

Re: Meg 9-20-02

OMG - Flashback to last September!! I cannot even tell you how much I wish I was back there right now!!
First off, I'd pay like a million dollars if I had it to be back in that pool or in the roof-top jacuzzi overlooking the mountains and the sea - So amazing. And that weather report on your pillow - Wasn't that the cutest thing ever?! I loved that.
I did stop at that restaurant in town where the mom comes around writes up the check - That was great too.
We definitely want to go back as soon as we can - Maybe within the next few years. We always said for sure that we'd go back for our 5 year anniversary but I'm hoping maybe sooner!
Did you happen to see one of the classical music concerts at the Villa Rufolo? It rained both nights that they were scheduled when we were there - I was really disappointed -

Re: Meg 9-20-02

No, we were there around the holiday time in August(I think it's called Faro Augusto, it's like their 4th of July) and there were no concerts. We did go to Villa Rufolo for a self guided tour. We have several pictures at the concert site. Did you have dinner at the hotel too? What an experience that was! The wine presentation is so cool. We have everything on video tape. In Capri, we stayed at the Ceasar Augustus which was really great. The views on the coast are just like a painting. We might go back next year

Re: Meg 9-20-02

Villa Rufolo was beautful - We have pictures by the concert site too! We have a 2hr video of our HM - a bit boring for others but I love watching it. We also saw Villa Cimbrone while we were in Ravello - What an amazing place!! The hike up there was a bit rough in the heat but it was SO worth it. We had dinner at the hotel too - The last night we were there. It was definitely an experience! All those courses!! The food never ended! I will keep Caesar Augustus in mind when we go back there some day - I hated the Capri hotel we stayed at. I'm jealous you might go back there next year - We'll probably wait a few years but I am so excited to go back!
