Merry Christmas Eve everyone!!!

I have a lot to get done today in preparation for our Christmas Eve gathering and dinner! I woke up super early with a dozen things running through my mind that I realized we still need! So I need to go shopping (grocery store, BBB, etc), then come back home and start baking and cooking for tonight! I'm really excited even though DH couldn't get out of work early so he won't be home til like 10pm tonight - well, at least he'll be here before midnight which is when everyone always sings Happy Birthday to me! (My bday is tomorrow). Then after happy bday singing, everyone opens their gifts. *Should* be a fun night so long as no one starts drama

DH is working Christmas Eve during the day, I'll be going to Physical Therapy. At 7pm he'll go to Mass with the family (midnight mass is too crowded for them). I would go but not feeling up to something like that yet. So they'll pick me up on the way to their house for dinner.

Christmas Day is all day at his parent's. Good food! Can't wait for the Ham!!!! Its more people than they usually have over, so it'll be sorta hectic. But fun!

(one of the joys of an interfaith marriage -- not having to share most holidays!)

Notice that its us Jewish girls that typically can't wait for the ham!!! I love ham...we couldn't find a family to adopt two hungry Jewish kids on Christmas

Merry Christmas to everyone!!!

We are staying in, cleaning, watching TV, enjoying the fact that our family is away and getting wings and pizza. Tomorrow I am going to sleep in and then go to my parents to grab some boxes for our new house and eat chicken soup and brisket. Oh, and we have our dog visiting from our IL's house and we are watching our kitten fight with our dog over a bone

Man, I am pathetic.
