Did anyone buy/have seen a metal album? I really wanted this album cover for my wedding, but my photographer is telling me that most likely I will not be able to get this style album with the photos mounted. So if you have a metal album, please post pics of it. And tell me how you like it...

I'm not sure. I know Patken offers it, but the photos may not be able to get mounted. I would call and speak to Doug to double check

Thanks for the information. I spoke to Doug before posting. Basically, I was told by my sales rep that I could get a metal album and my album consisted of mounted photos...Lo and behold, they now tell me that the metal album can't be mounted...so basically I'm frustrated with the whole process (it's too much to even type).
Doug was trying to convince me to go with a leather album. He said that it's better quality and it actually is more expensive than the metal. But my husband and I really loved the look of the metal album....We don't live in NY anymore so this whole process has been long and drawn out. Doug is checking to see if he can find a metal mounted album (I have found some companies online that does that)....So I guess I will wait and see.
However, I did want to get some reviews on the metal album from people who have seen/bought them...

ok, best of luck.
my only concern with a metal album is that it will scratch easy and need to be polished sorta. I know we are having leather, and even my parents album from 1979 looks great with the leather.
