I echo your sentiments........

Went to the game on Tuesday. So sad. I thought DH was going to have a heart attack. I'm more of a Yankee fan but I really feel bad for DH

I'm a Yankees fan....but go METS!
A Subway Series would ROCK!

yikes...four games to go. So strange how it fell apart like this. Never woulda thought the Yankees would clinch it before the Mets.

I can't believe I'm saying this as a Yankee fan, but I feel for you guys!

I watched the yankees celebrate last night with DH... He teased me b/c back in May I was teasing the CRAP out of him.... all he did back then was shake his head and say 'its too early in the season for teasing...'

HE TOLD ME SO... I can't believe he was right...

Im happy for the yankees.. i would LOVE a subway series for our wedding year... but the mets are making me lose faith.

Please stop Sucking bc Philly is going to overtake you and that would be very sad....

I would LOVE a Subway Series too!! During the WS in 2000, I was on tour so I wasn't in town during the games. It KILLED me to not be in NY for a subway series! It also stunk cuz I was stuck on the road with people who could care less about baseball.

my boss is a DIEHARD phillies fan. not a day goes by that he doesn't rub it in my face

HOW DO YOU GET SWEPT BY THE NATIONALS?!?

i just can't take it.

however, there's a good chance that if the mets fall out of 1st place to the phillies and become the wild card, they might play AZ in the first round which means i get to see them here in the playoffs. so i'm almost keeping my fingers crossed for that. . . .

It's killing me!!! I live in DC so have been only able to watch recent games but I listen or watch scores constantly online and have been sooo sad...I have tix for NLDS and just found out I won a raffle to buy tix on MOnday for NLCS! so LET'S GO METS!!!

It's killing me!!! I live in DC so have been only able to watch recent games but I listen or watch scores constantly online and have been sooo sad...I have tix for NLDS and just found out I won a raffle to buy tix on MOnday for NLCS! so LET'S GO METS!!!

play off games are AWESOME...

I went to the first game last year against the dodgers & i had tickets RIGHT on the first base line (about 5 rows back)

I could see (and here) all the excitement in the dugout... it was rad.

I was also at game 6 against St Louis last year when we tied it and pushed a game 7 (sadly we lost the next night...)

god i love baseball....

There was a guy in front of us with an eckstein t shirt and he was getting HARASSED... (I hate Met fans some times..)
There was also a guy walking around with a sign that said 'Cards take it in the Pujols' [sn0rt]

I've never been the *away* fan... I wanna venture out to phillie next year but hubby is like NOOOOO WAY.

I find it fun to sometmes be the away fan but in Philly I bet it would be tough!

They BETTER pull it together--got tixs for playoffs. Only post season game I have been to is Game 3 of 00 World Series and it was such an amazing thing!!
