Has anyone been to Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta and/or Acapulco? We are thinking of an anniversary trip to one of these places and really don't know anything about them or where to begin. We have been to a lot of the islands in the carribean and thought that Mexico would be a nice change. Any feedback would be really helpful!

I went to Puerto Vallarta about 5-6 years ago with my friends and it was really nice and we had a great time. The only downside was we stayed too far away from everything and had to take a cab and it was a hike. Stay in the town itself -- lots of bars, restaurants and plenty to do. It would be a great place to go for a 'second honeymoon' -- actually the Love Boat was docked there and there were a lot of couples!

That is so fuuny, because my husband and I were thinking about Mexico, and those 3 spots were some of our choices. I heard a lot of good stuff about all 3. I think I will ask my travel agent, and see what she recommends.

a friend of mine just went to los cabos. super expensive and not much to do.
