I am going to be in miami beach on sunday for the day before our cruise on monday...I was wondering any reccomendation of restaurants and then a nice place for drink maybe with live music or just something fun at night...we don't want to go to a club

emerald coast chinese buffet . i gained over 10 lbs in a week. its sooooooo good. prob best chinese food you'l ever have (fillet mignon and lobster,too)
clevlander is always a guaranteed good time. nikki beach is good..but i like it better for sunday brunch

if you go down into southbeach on Ocean Drive there are tons of places to eat and have a drink right near the ocean. there is wet willies, cleverland, fat tuesdays,
ocean 10 has nightly music, there is a band and they are really good. the food is delicous and there drinks are outta this world
mangos tropical cafe has food and drinks and it turns into like a night club at night, but if you were to go early enough you could enjoy the atmosphere b4 the club

Cleavelander for drinks. It was closed last time I was there though. Also, Ocean's 10 has an outside area, live entertainment at night and good food around lunch time. I like that place. There's a ton of good restaurants on ocean drive that are good..can't remember any names though.

Gloria Estefan has a restaurant I think it's called Bongos? And it might be on Ocean Drive...it's RIDIC delish and they have live music.
It's on the same strip as the Versace mansion, that's all I remember.

There is an awesome restaurant called Big Pink that DH and I kind of stumbled upon! Super fun, great food, good prices! It's on Collins and 3rd I think.

when we did a cruise a couple of years ago, we went in the day before like you too. our hotel was right across the street from Bayside Marketplace and it was really nice. it's all outdoors with lots of restaurants, shopping, and live music. definitely worth checking out. Bayside Marketplace

head over to Lincoln Road -- tons of restaurants, shops, bars, lounges, etc. you will find plenty to do.

bongos is not next to versaces house ,unless theres 2 locations. bongos u would have to drive to. its right next to the basketball arena.
u can try coconut grove.. tu 2 tango. its a tapas place. they have amazzing alligator. its seriously reallly good. theres usually an artist there painting whiel u eat and u can buy his art. its a funky place
