miracle of miracles....

hey girls...

i hope no one thinks i'm bragging, i just HAD TO SHARE!! i can't believe this but i got the job!!! if you remember my last post... it has been over a month, the position was supposed to start NOW... and i hadn't heard and thought they must've given it to someone else since i hadn't heard anything. some of you (and my DH) suggested that i call/email just to see what happened and ..you know...follow up. and the director emailed me almost immediately and said... 'hmm, that's odd. we picked you... i'll look into it.' and low and behold, the next day, they called. i just came home from meeting with a bunch of district people. the superintendent congratulated me and i have to fill out paperwork but it's official... i don't know how, but i got it! i'll have a steady income until JUNE... i can't hardly believe it!

and i just had to share because many of you know how LOW DOWN i was about this whole thing. any teacher that subs knows how hard it can be. and i hope that you know how grateful i am to you all that send me hugs and prayers and good thoughts. i'll always continue to send them right back for all of you too!!! thank you for your miraculously powerful LIW prayers. :o) i was really just about to give up all hope...
