Missing Proofs?

Missing Proofs?

I used Duet and they were great but I got my proofs back and some of the pics that I remember them taking arent in there. Can professional pics just not come out? One of the pics is that traditional one with the invitation, shoes, garter, etc.
I called them and asked and they havent called back yet.

I'm in the same boat Diane. FH is a little upset that a few really funny Groomsmen shots are not in there. It seems they really weed through them to get out anything that isn't a fantastic picture.

I have heard girls on here mention that they have gotten 'reject' pics from Duet after all is said and done...

I think i am going to drop Nicole an email today!

We had proofs missing too. I know because I am anal and looked at all the #s on the back, because it seemed like we got less than we should have. I also remember a few that we took with certain family members (aunts & uncles) that weren't in there. I was going to ask about it, but since they weren't shots that were that important, I didn't. I think they just didn't come out.

yeah...same here. i recall my photog taking the shot we requested of our hands for the ring shot...and it didn't come out i guess. now i can never share when people post 'show us your ring!' oh, well! i'll live!

I got my negs back from Duet a few weeks ago and there were some shots in there and on the CD's of original digitals that I had never seen proofs of. They definitely had been weeded out. They weren't wonderful pics, but some were good. You can tell where they thought I was makeing a funny face or something, they just ddin't print those.

the same thing happened to us --we used creative compositions --i remember shots being taken and we don't have the proofs for them...i don't think they weeded through ours though b/c they left some shots in there that are terrible (due to the camera being moved or some other malfunction i am guessing). we called them to see if maybe the lab messed up --still waiting to hear back.

when i picked up my proofs, there was someone who had already gotten her proofs but a box was missing --they said the lab had forgotten to print them or something...
