I am dreading the day when I would have to make one of these!

My sister said I'd be her MOH if she ever got married..and if I can slip 5 'fucks' and 1 'c.unt' into my speech...she will give me a special bonus prize!!!!

um... well who are you giving the speech to? a sister? a cousin? a friend?

i'm looking forward to doing this one day... i'll say some semi-embarrassing things (nothing too bad) and some really emotional memories.

so just talk about and to her... the only time you address him is when you wish them a wonderful future...
and you can always say 'hey john, good luck with lucy... lucy, do you remember that one night in high school.. you know the one where... oh never mind, its not appropriate'

You can say the words to the golden girls theme song. I did that at my friends wedding last December. I thought it was funny.

Since you dont really like the FH so much..make it more about your BFF. It can go something like this....

*opening line*

* say a few nice things about the bride...how long you've known her...throw some compliments her way*

*then tell a funny story about her..nothing super embarassing*

*wrap it up by saying how lucky he is to have her and wish them all the best!

This is the exact speech with the breaking into song part, that I did at my friends wedding in December.

ETA: DH is still impressed that I kept the beginning so serious and looked as it I was reading off of a piece of paper.
