Mold...Mold...Mold.... May I vent cause thts all i do lately?
So we all know the never ending saga of my hubbys attempt to convert our house into a two family...
Well, the house is finally done... or so we thought...
The last two rain storms, the hallway (Which was the ONLY thing dh did not gut and rip appart) has been flooding....![]()
So, DH ask's his brother if he did everything to 'code' etc and his brother says yes... so weleft it...
Well,we started to smell a grose smell.... and in there is our pantry for canned goods etc...
So we thought maybe something leaked... and cleaned it out but, Nothing. The pantry DH himself gutted and rewalled...
So, using my preggo sensory smells...
I started sniffing around...
And the smell was coming FROM THE WALL

So, DH freaks out and begins to TAKE DOWN The wall that his brother 'Put up' the right way...
and what did we find....
MOLD... and OPEN WIRES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![]()

So we thought we would be painting the hallway and re cementing the stairs... and we were wrong... DH put on his oxygen mask and tyvek suit and began RIPPING DOWN our hallway only to find that his brother NEVER FILLED IN THE BRICKS WITH CEMENT either which is what caused the flood!
oh lordy...
So... hello to my unfinished basement appartment... at least the babies nook is done right?![]()
