It's cancer

I feel sick.

The doctor said that she is curable, and she will be fine. This cancer thrives off Progesterone & estrogen and he has a pill for that.

There has been no talk of radiation or chemo yet.

Hopefully it will just get removed and that be the end of it.

She needs to make an appt for an MRI.

I know that I should be happy, by what the doctor said. I just don't want her to go through anything else.

My stepfather hasn't even been gone a month.

I just want to runaway.

I promise you, if the doctor's telling you it's curable, it definitely is!!

I know it's so shocking and traumatic to hear such news, but truly there are so many people getting through it.

It's a total rollercoaster of emotions, stay strong and think positive!! I'm here if you need ANYTHING, please don't hesitate to FM me.

I'm gonna be on this week more in the evenings due to starting a new job.

Dana - 1st of all - I know how much this $ucks right now & Im so sorry for all the extra stress...what doesnt kill us only makes us stronger. 2nd of all - it is SO important for you to help your mom stay positive! I know I sound like one of those self-help guru's right now - but it really is true - THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING!!! My uncle & my FIL have both gone through prostate cancer & survived - but they did it by keeping a positive attitude the entire time. & my FIL is a pack & 1/2 - 2 pack smoker a day...go figure

But stay positive - this WILL get better & your stepdad will be watching over to help you all through this!

I have a big hug reserved for you on Sunday!
