I need a closing page that balances the opening one. I havent decided which one I prefer:





Everyone seems to like #2 but Im not sure. What do you think?


The big dance one is going to be my final real photo page. What did you use as your final page?

I love #2, #1 is too covered up.

Good question...we dont have many from our cocktail hour. A few random ones but nothing album worthy. The photographers took a bunch of library shots during our cocktail hour and then we mingled in the crowd for the rest, so i guess there wasnt much to photograph?

Did you include a dress and shoe shot in your getting ready?? I did not see that.

On the page where the big color pix is I think it would be nice to put the details from the reception. JMO. Instead of having those details on the dance page, I think

In this pix, why not make it all first dance, the only focus, no details

I like the dance sequence but I want to see more of your guest, everywhere I look I see you.

I love any of those walking away as your ending pix. Great choice, those were the ones I was thinking of

Im not gonna lie - the 'everywhere i look i see you' is definitely the point. This book is about us and about the wedding that WE remember - not about our wedding party or guests.

That said, I wanted the dancing page to have other photos in it so I went digging for more photos of our guests last night and realized that:
a) All of the group photos have us in them as the main focus since we danced nearly EVERY song
b) photos that have just our guests in are more like posed photos of particular groups - so I dont like that.

I have table shots which I think are sort of blah but I can include those. Maybe i will put those in the big reception page.

I agree 100% that this book is about YOU!!! (you plural...you and Luke)

I love the b/w pic of you looking back...the others look like you are going somewhere...but the looking back makes it more reflective...does that make sense?

I love the dance layout...but are the pics in the middle of your first dance? I would want to isolate them with their own layout...but I love the blurry shot with you guys focused in the middle...

we did a similar spread...with everyone dancing in a circle around us for the hora

as for table shots...i didn't even request them...b/c I am not a big fan...a friend of mine put every table shot in her album...and I didn't really like it...

Stef, I would be the last to tell you not to make your album very 'you' oriented, b/c ours is very me, I mean very us oriented, we have heard people say it. But we paid so we could care less. Anyway, I was just wondering about guest caught dancing to be included, since there are so many of you and Luke it would just be nice to include those, that is if you had them. Since you don't then keep what you have.

It definitely should be about you....my sister worked at a wedding studio and they pushed that as well...

and I think there will always be a few more bride pics than groom...

You will stand out more, b/c you are the bride, you are the only one wearing a big white dress. I have a question, are those 1st dance pix I see included?? if so why?? If not ignore the question. A couple of those pix look similar, do you have any others of you and Luke dancing??

No, those are not my first dance photos.

I think the dance photos just tend to look similiar since its the same people, same location, etc.. The ones I show are my favorites. I have others but they look pretty much the same.
