Mortgage Interest Rates

For all you ladies house huting or have recently purchased a home, would you recommend locking in the rate?

Our broker has suggested doing it. The rates right now are really good but if they keep dropping I dont want to miss out...

You ahve a 50-50 chance of the rate going up or going down.
If you feel it is a good rate, then lock it in.
I locked in my co-op re-fi at 4.75% for 20 years.
My original rate was 7% - that was a great rate back in 1998 when I took out the mortgage.
