Hello ladies. I'm trying to come up with some ideas for a great gift for some friends that are getting married in July. Have any of you received a gift (preferably NOT from your registry) that just made you go WOW--what a GREAT gift?!

yes! there is this album from the hallmark store, and its for photos, but its like an already made scrap book, and it starts with the engament, and goes through the bridal shower and then a huge section for the wedding. By far my fav gift!!!

My friend made me a memory box....(well tray)
She bought a beautiful wooden tray that had a glass cover.....and placed underneath the glass my...
wedding invitation part of my program save the dates ribbon wands a few other pieces that I just can't think of right now.
I LOVED it and cried when I opened it.

I got a similar album from Fortuneoff's as well as they really nice shadow box frame.

MIL's friend gave us a quilt made of Indian wedding saris. It is beautiful. I'm going to use my tax refund $ to get it framed.

there's this book called the story of he and she (it may be on amazon) and it is so cute. they have a little diary thing in the back for the bride and groom to fill out. it's not too expensive so it can part of the gift.
