Mosturizers? 2 Questions

First question:

Ok ladies, beauty question again. I have SUPER dry skin-think the alligator in whatever that commercial was. But its sensitive so can't use things with a lot of perfumes. Anyone have suggestions for a good body mosturizer?

Second question:

Face mosturizer for combo skin. I used Neutrogena visibly even at night but during day Im stuck. I have combo skin and a VERY oily T-zone and sensitive skin. Suggestions?

First question- Clinique makes a pretty good body butter, but it might be a little too fragrant. Origins has really good stuff too and I think that they might have a line that is fragrance free.

Second question- I swear by Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizer. I tried lots of different products, but that works best for me.

I just went to the dermatologist a couple weeks ago and they told me about Cerave. It is supposed to be better than Cetaphil. I have been using it and it is GREAT!!! I have very sensitive skin and it hasn't bothered me at all. You can purchase it at Walgreens or CVS. I have not been able to find it at Walmart or Target.

For my body, I swear by Nivea. Love them, my skin is baby soft when I use it consistently.

I have oily skin so I don't use a moisturizer for my face.

I have very dry/sensitive skin and I use Lubriderm Daily Moisture - Fragrance Free - and it works pretty well.

I was told years ago by my dermatologist to use Eucerin but, I didn't like its consistency.

for question #1, if your skin is super duper dry, AQUOPHOR! Put a coin sized amount on each leg after you come out of the shower.... once the reptilian skin is gone, move onto something lighter..... burts bees makes several nice ones.... a couple are not very fragranced at all... you can try them out at bath and body works before you commit

as for the combo face, that I don't know... I produce no moisture or oils at all. For my face, I use burts bees tinted moisturizer and then set it with their powder.... no more flaky skin

another trick I use for dry legs/arms, is using foot cremes (as long as they're unmedicated, and not too fragrant). They tend to be more potent than body butters.....

I have really sensitive skin, too. Ironically, What's worked for me are drugstore brands. Higher-end brands, IME, tend to have a lot of additives, be they extra botanicals or the latest skin care fad. More ingredients = more rashes. I can check out the ingredient list more easily at the drugstore; I can just pick up the products and study them at my leisure. At the department store, I have to go to each brand station, and talk to the salesperson.

The products that have worked for me best are:

1) Cetaphil cream (in the tub).

2) Moisturel lotion. Absorbs quickly and is a good everyday moisturizer.

3) Aquaphor. I'll second this. Absorbs better than Vaseline and doesn't smell. Although I still wouldn't touch important papers until a few minutes after application.

I've used Eucerin, Cetaphil (in the pump), and Lubriderm lotions, and while they worked fine, I was lukewarm about their consistency and performance. But they might work for you and they won't irritate your skin.
