this is our first Mother's Day ever that I won't be with my mom ![]()
I hate living so far away. Normally we do a big girls day out (just my mom & sisters) and we go walk around Port Jefferson or something. And then later that night we'll have dinner with everyone. Fun times. Hopefully this is the ONLY Mother's Day that I'll be this far away. I can't wait to be living closer to NY.

I have no idea now bc MIL is also celebrating her bday on sunday. I didnt expect this bc her bday isnt on sunday so i had planned on going out with my mom. Of course dh just tells me this. DH said to invite my mom out for her bday/mothers day dinner, i guess i have to figure it out real soon lol

Sad day for me. Both my mom and my MIL are passed, and I won't have any children. It's a weird feeling, I feel kind of lost on mother's day.
DH and I will start the day by visiting the cemetery and then we were invited to a bbq at our friend's house, sort of our substitute mom, to spend with her, her mom and her daughters.
