Moving to Iowa

My post may not be as exciting as the previous post about Hawaii, but I thought I'd share our exciting/overwhelming news.

My husband just got a tenure-track positition at a university in Sioux City, Iowa and we are definitely moving in August. He's moved a lot throughout his life, but I've never lived anywhere except New York, so I'm a bit nervous about the move.

If anyone knows anything about Sioux City I would love some advise. Regardless, I know I'll keep checking the boards . . . I love hearing about you all!!!

wow that will be exciting - i love change- and i already did a search and i found the mall there! so thats good news!

I am sure it will be a great experience....and there is something so ramantic about moving to a new place with your husband....

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!! I moved to Iowa a few years ago and stayed about 2 years. I moved out there to see a tornado. (I'm a meteorologist, yes I'm sick) I don't know Sioux City all that well as I lived in Cedar Rapids. But if you need someone to talk to, I'm here.
