Ms. or Mrs.?

I didn't change my name after getting married but have no idea if I'm a Ms. or a Mrs.!

Before wedding I was Ms. Sandy Doe. Am I still that or am I Mrs. Sandy Doe?

thanks for any help you can offer!

Re: Ms. or Mrs.?

I took my husbands name, but like to be called Ms. Mrs. sounds so old.

Re: Ms. or Mrs.?

I think Ms. is what you use when you're too old to be called Miss. Or, I also think it's appropriate for you to be called Ms. if you wish.

Re: Ms. or Mrs.?

My high-school students have taken to using my maiden name and adding the Mrs. instead of the usual Ms. I tell them that Mrs. M***** is my mother!!! I will be switching to strictly Mrs. C******* for next year

Re: Ms. or Mrs.?

Ms is for those too old for Miss, for those who don't take Husbands name, and divorce'd women (Ms. X's last name)

Re: Ms. or Mrs.?

I PREFER Ms. but will answer to Mrs. when they use his last name, although it does make me think of MIL! Heck, I am still having trouble getting used to his last name, period...I am still using my maiden name for a lot of things.

Anyway, I haven't been on the boards much these days but wanted to say hi to Sandy! I can't believe you are married already!! I hope everything was wonderful at Lands End for you!! Are you still in VA?? Drop me an email if you get a chance...

Re: Ms. or Mrs.?

I would say Ms. if you're keeping your last name.

I took my husband's name, so I'm Mrs. I can't really see why you would change your name and then still be Ms...JMO
