Yesterday we received a wedding gift in the mail. We were lucky to only have 2 couples that we got nothing from (not even a card). Anyway it was from a friend from college who brought her boyfriend. She apologized and wrote something really sweet. It was so werid to not receive something from her in the first place since she was the girl who always bought a beer for someone for no reason, picked up the tab at late night diners, etc.
So Miss Manners says 1 year - ya never know newlyweds!!!!

Well, that's a nice surprise.
Let's hope that my brother, best man, and, how ironic, financial adviser also realize they have some time left I won't hold my breath though

I had a similar experience. We had 5 nongivers, and within the last month or so, we got presents from four of the five of them. I don't remember where I putt he extra TYs, but I better figure it out...lol.
