I am the same way I was glad I turned 23 before we were married but I still feel too young but. I am a late birthday baby (Oct of '85) so if we were still going to get married in Sept I wouldn't have even been 23 yet haha

i know, i feel so young! DH doesn't understand it but i guess that is because he is turning 27...it's funny though b/c our families never said anything about me being too young to get married - but i feel like we have an odd situation since we have been living together since i was 19 turning 20 so after that our families were kind of waiting for it to happen - almost like what's taking so long! hahahaha......

i do feel older than people my age though - when i hear about people my age getting married i'm like OMG what are they thinking?!? then i forget i'm either the same age as them or younger and i'm married already

but at least 24 sounds older so people don't look at me like i have 10 heads when they find out how old i am and that i am married.....it doesn't help when you kind of look young - i'm afraid of what people are going to think when i'm pregnant! catie people are going to think we are like & 15 knocked up!

Happy Birthday enjoy your day! You are still in your early twenties I love that!

Don't take offense to that I only say it because I am 33 and wish I could still say I am in my early twenties instead of my early thirties!

haha I know what you mean...my friend is 21 and I am like oh no wait to get engaged you are still young (her and her bf have been together already for 6 yrs) and then I am like oh god I was 21 when I got engaged haha. It is so weird. But you are right about when we are pregnant. I got ID yesterday for matches. I ran into 7-11 for my aunt and the guy was like oh ok I thought you were 16-17. So I can just imagine if I have a kid in another 3 years what people will think. They will definitely think we are young and knocked up meanwhile we are married for years

I have to agree 26 was such great age although if I have to remember any one of them I thought my 30th was going to be awful and depressing and it was by far the best birthday I had ever had. I didn't get the birthday blues at all!

I can't remember the day, but I remember her saying she was right after her DH and I remember her talking about going to his parents for his. I think you're right and I got confused.
