My DH forgot to go pick up our proofs tonight

And I feel like an idiot, but I want to cry...we got the call on Sat., but we were working on the house so even though I was DYING to drop everything to go get them he swore to me that he'd pick them up today if I'd just be patient and wait (I work 2 jobs so I can't get there during the week & he was busy yesterday). So anyways, this a.m. I gave him a list of questions to ask when he picked them up (and to remind him), but when I just called he told me that he completely forgot and that now he's up to his neck is spackle and can't go. I'm not mad or anything, just so, sooooo disappointed...I couldn't wait to get home tonight to see them Sorry - I know it's dumb, but I'm sitting here by myself and just needed to share

I'm sorry hon. I'm sure you'll get to see them soon but I know how you must feel.

Hah Ryan I am with you. But I agree. Just look really sad and he'll feel so guilty he will bring em home tomorrow. Sniff for good measure

Thanks ladies! It makes me feel better to know I'm not alone on this

So get this - I go out with the girls after work for some drinks, I get home at like 11:45 feeling fine & all distracted by the booze I drank & he's sitting on the couch. So I come in, say 'Hi - how was your day? Ok, good - I'm going to bed' and that was it...he waits a few minutes then goes 'You're mad at me, aren't you? Well if you are, you shouldn't be - I was messing with you...go check the 2nd desk drawer!! hahaha' I was like 'Whaaaat?' and then, rather than kick his a$$, I tackled him & gave him a few good nip twisters (that's how I usually punish him )!!! After I felt all better about that, I made him sit there & look at all 240 pics with me before he could go to bed...hoo hoo hoo ha ha ha THAT was THE BEST punishment I could give him that late on a Tuesday night!!
