I thnk she is having a reaction to the new food we are giving her - nutro max - i am mixing it in slowly like they say to do, but I think she had diarrhea yesterday and this morning, before she even ate, she got sick (in my bed! ugh! after we were up though). I gave her an immodium last night, and the whining-at-the-door stopped, but she's been all mopey last night and this morning .... if she is still like this tomorrow I will take her to the vet, but I think she's just irritated by the food.... she seems to be coughing a bit though, and she was very warm last night ...
I hate when my doggie is sick so i know how you must feel. Hope she is better soon

Thanks girls. When I took her outside before I left, she peed a lot, but didn't poop .. maybe a good sign? .. but she ate whatever green grass she could find in the backyard which is a sign her tummy still bothers her. I tried to give her a pepto - she wasn't having it. They taste funny so I don't blame her. Later when I go home for lunch, I will try to put it in a pill pocket, these awesome snack things that my vet gave me. You put any pill in it and the dog will eat it right up. It's a soft cookie like a snausage so you can mush it together to cover up the pill entirely. She is fooled every time

This used to happen to my dog alot. The vet would tell us to either not feed her for a day to let her stomach settle or give her some plain white rice. My poor puppy has a really sensitive stomach

Yeah, when I go home for lunch, I am going to make her some rice. I took her food away so that she doesn't eat it - she probably won't be looking for it anyway because she doesn't feel well.

Thats the best thing for them when they have an upset stomach. If they keep eating that they will stay sick It usually only takes about a day for my puppy to feel better
