We got ou first card today and it was from The Beach Club where we were married and had our reception. What a nice thing for them to do. It really made me feel wonderful.

That is wonderful, Happy Anniversary. My husband and I wound up picking out the same exact card for each other for our First Anniversary..how weird, guess we really are meant to be- either that or he's a long lost sibling

My husband isn't that great at picking out cards and he sometimes even forgets to sign them, so I can't wait to see what I will get. We are not getting each other anything because we are going on a vacation and that was the deal we made. But I am sure there will be a card.

Wendy - happy anniversary! I think that's very nice of the beach club! I have never heard of a catering hall sending an anniversary card - talk about a personal touch. I have only gotten holiday cards from my cake lady.
NuBride - that's sweet that you and hubby picked the same card. Me and my hubby have been doing that since our very first Valentine's day together. It's a little spooky sometimes, but I love how we're always on the same 'page.'

That's pretty neat that eventhough the wedding is done, they haven't forgotten you. Congrats & Happy 1st!
We made a deal for our 1st too, that our little getaway is going to be our present to eachother. However, hubby doesn't always stick to these deals and always does something else, which leads me to run around last minute trying to figure out what to do for him! Hopefully I can convince him that the trip will be more than enough for both of us to be spending!
