I just got home from a 10 hour workday and I when I walk in my house is a disaster!!!!
DH has been home all day...laying in bed. Literally. With no clothes on, empty dishes surrounding him, garbage still in the kitchen, toys everywhere. I dont understand how he can just let the crap lay everywhere, stepping over it and stuff. He says..'oh, i thought you wanted to clean up tomorrow'...GGGRRRRRRRR....and he has therefore inspired my question for tonight....haha.
Does anyone else have a DH as lazy as mine??????

well overall I don't think my DH is lazy but sometimes he gets in a rut where he lays around a lot but it happens more when he gets bummed about not having a job . . though he still hasn't done the TEN thank yous he was supposed to do for our wedding and our 1 year anniversary is in a WEEK. ..

Yeah DH is either really lazy, or really not lazy..lol
he goes from one extreme to the other, either leaves crap every where, or decides to go on a cleaning organizing rampage, and makes me feel like i was the lazy one! LOL even tho he was the one that made the mess to begin with! LOL

Aww I would have killed him!
I am probably more of the lazy one in the relationship... DH def has his moments but he always feels like he needs to be doing something, he gets so bored just hanging around the house watching TV. I on the other hand am perfectly happy doing that.
DH does most of the cooking though, so I do the laundry and about 75% of the cleaning... he does help out though.

We are the exact opposite! I don't know how DH lives with me. I'm a slob and very lazy when it comes to cleaning - on my best days. He's very organized and likes everything to be neat and clean. Urgh. Poor DH!

I can call my DH a lot of things, but LAZY will NEVER be one of them. That guy has more energy then anyone I have ever known. He is always going and going and going.

YES!!!!!!
When it comes to housework. He can be extremely selfish, so if it has anything to do with himself, like his car, his photography, his sports, he'll be up early, ready to roll, go go go. But when it comes to housework, I really have to push him to do his fair share. And it's not even a fair share, just like making the bed and taking out the trash and now he's going to be doing the dusting too...but he never does it on his own, I always have to ask, and more than once.

I am so lucky, DH is not lazy at all. He's actually the opposite. If he takes a sick day from work he MUST do as many things on his to do list. He has changed to oil on the car while sick because he can't stand to see a day go to waste. And thankfully DH hates a messy house as much as I do, he's always picking up and putting away. He does NOT actually clean though, like no dusting vacumming, windexing unless of course I ask for help.

Re: My First NWOTW QOTD
Actually No. My DH is actually just like me. A neat clean freak. He hates when its messy or dirty. Although for some odd reason he doesnt believe leaving his socks on the floor at night is that bad as he will drop them in the hamper the next morning.Does this make sense after he has put everything else into the hamper already???? I hate it cause when i get up in the morn. i still have to see it on bedroom floor. But i guess its not that bad after all. Now is it? Also i could never call DH lazy. He seriously does so much & does everything so well. He can do it all & he never complains about doing a thing. He really is great.
