my hand hurts!!

i have been sitting here practicing writing my new name since i got my SS card in the mail yesterday - it's harder than i thought! i guess after siginign the same name for 27 1/2 years it's hard to break that 'habit'

got any advice girls??

I still write my maiden name here and there!! Def an adjustment!! And I don't like my new signature as much as my old one- the letters don't flow as nicely!

exactly! i had my signature down pat... i love my new name, i just feel like i am starting from 'scratch'

DH had me signing dinner receipts all throughout our HM so I could practice my new siggie, lol!

I have yet to master my new name--I just can't do it. I still use my maiden name for most things....

Funny thing...ive sort of gotten used to signing my new name...the other day I signed the Fedex thingie for a package with my NEW last name and the Fedex guy says last name Tracy I started laughing b/c NOOOO that WAS my last name-so when I took a look at it I guess it kind of looked like Tracy but it wasnt the way I signed it before.

Same here. I LOVE my maiden name. Not ready to give it up.
