Sounds familiar...what game was it now??

I'm not even sure it has a lot of ugly monsters and creatures in it and it keeps track of your points or something. When you reach 60 (which is the highest) you are considered a master. He's almost up to 50, he's so proud of himself.

My DH has x-box and is addicted to Halo 2 online...so he has his silly little headset and plays while he talks to all these people.

Mine plays Everquest II online and has an online 'store' that MUST be open 24 hours a day, to the point that when he went away on business last week, I had to 'Open the Store' in the mornings.

I wish he liked sports like normal boys!! At least then we could watch TV together.

I hate this game!!

Not only have I lost my DH to video games, but I've lost him to G-Force, the video game channel on TV!! He wants to know what system your DH is playing!

ETA: DH says to tell you that he loses me to LIW all the time!

Kind of sounds like World of Warcraft, which is an online game and in my opinion probably one of the worst kinds, because they're the most addicting. I play with DH sometimes, but he plays a LOT more than I do.

And they make fun of us for being on LIW!!!!

Mine plays Grand Theft Auto over and over and over again!!! Luckily, I can restrict his playing to only those times when I'm not at home or on the phone with my parents.

and another good thing about him is that DH will only play games that he can't physically 'do' himself. So he won't play any sports games, because, he says, if he wants to play rugby, he'll just go outside and play rugby. But, unfortunately, he can't go out and steal cars

LOL

I laugh because this is what I do for a living!

I currently work in a world called Second Life which is much more gender neutral than the WOW and EQ games. It's a world of social and creative outlets, and is totally addictive as well.

If any of you ladies give it a try make sure to IM me and I will come say hi!! (Coreina Grace is the name I play under, but I also work there :) )

I think it's a lot easier to be more understanding of our DH's when we play games as well. That's why I never get too mad at him.

Re: My husband's other lover

I knew what you were talking about right away! I am a WOW widow too.

At first it was just Thursday nights and I was happy DH was playing the game with my BIL's and cousins but now it is what feels like every free moment. I expressed my dislike of this and suggested Date Night (Saturdays) and Game night (a night DH and I play a game together) Hopefully this works
