My Last QOTD, Saturday

What would be the perfect way to celebrate your first anniversary? For those who have celebrated it already, what did you do?

Because our anniversary falls in August I think our perfect 1st anniversary would be to take the boat to a waterfront restaurant and have a romantic meal and then enjoy the sunset.. Its something we do a lot, but I think there are little ways to make it more special. I don't want to spend the money at that point in our lives to go away or anything like that. Personally I would rather go away together in the winter then on our anniversary anyhow. Boating to dinner is our special thing. Its the thing we share love for the most, so it makes sense to celebrate our special day that way.

we hope to go on a mini vacation , just to get away and celebrate the two of us! i also hope to get anniversary pictures done, like a day after shoot!

Well, it turns out that our first anniversary celebration will be in Hawaii!!

DH's best friend is getting married in Kuwaii 10/9/10 so we are making it into a 1 week vacation. We'll be there for the wedding and then have the rest of the week to celebrate our 1st year of marriage.
We're doing it a week later than our actual anniversary, we didn't want to be there the week leading into their wedding because then it would be too much wedding chaos and not enough Jen & DH vacation.

It actually works out perfectly!

I would love to go somewhere upstate or in New England so we can enjoy all the Fall foliage, eat delicious comfort food kind of like our mini moon.

Oh this is a good one...does it have to be practical?

Being surprised with a weekend trip to Paris, and then getting to go on a big shopping spree.

But in reality...taking the day off to be with each other, watching movies all day and then going out to eat at a really nice restaurant, and coming home to more snuggling...naked.

we are going on a family cruise about 2 weeks before our actual anniversary soo that will be part of it...
i think i would just like to watch our wedding video, eat some frozen cake, and a nice new one that a friend of mine is going to make and design it just like what our cake would have looked like, and maybe go out to dinner, nothing crazy!!

ooh I would say a week in Italy. . or preferably more. .or a diving trip somewhere like the caymans. . .

realistically just might be a night somewhere and if so I'd like to go to the B&B that we stayed in the wknd we were engaged in North Fork !
