So only one question for the last day... But one I hope you put alot of thought into...
What is something that you are greatful for this year. Aside from getting married... Think about something that has happened to you that has made you greatful.

Re: My Last QOTD- Sorry so late!
I have to say, although it may sound a bit cheeky...I am greatful that DH found about about his disease...and got sick when he did. Let me explain... Instead of us living in a newly wed bubble, we were able to see our strength RIGHT AWAY as a married couple. It wasn't all romance, and there were alot of nerves and tears...(And in my case vomit) but knowing everything we are/have been going through... that we are still able to sit with a cup of tea and giggle at eachothers jokes... and play scrabble and dance to the oldies... makes me realize that this is probably how we will be years from now. An old and married couple, sitting on a swing on their front porch, drinking their tea and remembering the good times. I am just greatful, to have found a man who cares as much about marriage and love, as I always have.

Im so grateful for our family & friends that truly helped us & was totally there for us during a really hard time in our life. Losing a child is very hard & extremely emotional. So i couldnt have been more thankful to have them by our side to help us through.
Also im so so thankful to have the very best man by my side. He is my best friend & love of my life & could not imagine a day without him.
Edited for spell checks.

That is beautiful Jenny. I am glad you guys found strength through your rough times!!
I am grateful that DH got a job and that we are able to afford to stay in NYC at least another year. I love this city and I just wanted at least one more year here before we settle into a house in the burbs.

This is a really nice sentiment and it's good to think of the positive when it's so easy to dwell on the negative sometimes.
I'm grateful to finally be living with DH in the same state, city and home -- FINALLY. And that he's ok with the fact that I'm still unemployed and doesn't make me feel bad about it at all. He's totally fine with me being home and cooking and stuff. It makes me feel really good. I still want to get a job so I can contribute to our home, but he makes me feel so ok about everything, which is a really nice feeling.

i totally feel the same way!!! dh and I have gone through some of the roughest times of or 10 year relationship in the past month. and through it all, he has been a rock. my shoulder to cry on. he has been so supportive to me and mom, it is amazing.
i mean, here we are newlyweds and his mil, is living with him, suddenly, unexpectedly and who knows for how long... he has been nothing but considerate, kind to her... i feel like they have always been close but now even closer... he doesn't act any different around her....
this has been tough for us both of course, but she is my mom ya know...
he has taken an active role, in all the decisions regarding, her house, finances, where she will live.. etc....
it is amazing and comforting to see what an amazing husband i have, it makes me feel like we have gotten so much stronger, and we can handle whatever life throws at us

Getting into a PhD program. It's been about 8 or 9 years in the making and I was really stressed out about the whole process. If I didn't get in I was going to change careers and throughout the whole thing DH was really supportive. It was nice to not go through it alone, and now that we're moving and I'm going to start the program in a few months, it's nice that he'll be there for me the whole time too.
