My Poor Cookie

I know most of you are now 10ers so you were not on the 09 boards when I posted in Feb 2009 about my poor Cookie (my family dog) having a heart attack while chasing geese in the backyard. We thought she was done then and now almost 2 years later the time has come.

Monday we will have to put her down. She has been passing out 2-3 times a day and just looks so miserable.

I know I have my own little puppy now Candy, but this is still heartbreaking. From 2005-8/8/09 when I was living at home she slept on my bed every night. She was basically my baby and leaving her behind was the hardest thing about moving out of my parents. (Even though I only moved 5 minutes away.)

I am so sorry. My dog (my baby) passed away two weeks ago and I am crying as I read your post. I feel your pain. It is so hard!!!!!! We have to remember all of the good times we had with them. They would never want us to be sad. Also, remember you were lucky to have another two years with Cookie.
