My proofs..or lack of them..Updated I got them.... and they are great!

Well, I been married since 8/20 and I have no proofs, no thank you cards and no video. I am beyond the point of stressing out. I am aggravated but really I am just like ok whatever.. last night my mother was kind of flipping out but like i said its all good. I have tried to get in touch with my photographer but it has been phone tag and emails. Our schedules are just crazy i guess. Should i be more mad, I am having DH call today.

I think its good you are not getting emotional about it but at this point, I'd probably go to their office and demand my proofs or at least an explanation.

well, you're not even at the 8 week mark, are you? Most photogs say it takes approx 8 weeks.

I would definitely follow up with your vendor. If it makes you feel any better I don't have a video either.

Lori he still didn't come that is what makes so pissed off about him. You play phone tag with him and he does not call. I'm sorry you didn't get them. We have the same photo guy and he is not a great one either. He does not folllow up at all. I still don't have my video either. Keep on his *** lori. I'm going to with the video. I just can't wait to be done with him after the alblums.

My proofs were ready when we got back from HM, and the hold-up with our video is b/c we didn't get them the HM pics right away, so they told us it would be about 6 weeks for the video from the point we gave them our HM Pics...

I would go to their office and tell them you want your proofs!!!

The thing is our photoman does not have a office. He had one and sold it and it was not like he was there all the time he made an app and then he was there. That the problem with our guy

We do not have our video yet either. They told me about three weeks from my wedding that the video would not be ready until mid October. I really have no idea why it takes that long to get the video but I am going to call my photographer this week to inquire. Good luck.

Well, when I read your post I realized we've got to start seriously bugging out guy. It's almost 3 months after our wedding our NO PROOFS!!! DH is supposed to call him today, so I'll see what happened tonight.

Frankly, we dropped the ball and didn't start bugging him until recently, because there has been so much going on in our lives since the wedding. But this is ridiculous. He told us 8 weeks, and it's now 12.

All I can say, is they had better be the BEST damn proofs I've ever seen to make it worth this long of a wait. That said, I'm really glad you got your proofs.

The worst part is, we didn't get any photos from our family or friends either. We have the disposable camera shots, but most of those are of our guests. We have no shots of the two of us together, or of our bridal party at this point. If I ever get married again (ha!) I would appoint someone to take pictures.
