my mom said that for the last few days our dog Xena has been itching her 'bottom' and that there's blood in her stool and when she sits on the rug she leaves blood stains!!!
what is this? my mom is taking her to the vet but they cant see her until tomorrow night!!! my poor baby!!!

Yes, they have them drained/emptied by squeezing.

our other dog has to get this done all the time--the anal cleaning--but we've never seen him bleed from it. could that be the cause? we take her too but not as often as the male because he's just gross those things full up quick

The blood is probably from rugburn! What kind of dog is it? Sounds like glands or pinworms - both easy fixes at the vet.

she's not really rubbing on the carpet its more like if shes just sitting and when she gets up theres blood where her butt was

I was going to say anal glands too but there wouldn't be blood in the stool from that unless it's catching the blood on the way out.
