My rings are so tight

My rings are so tight

I finally got them off this weekend, and my finger is really bruised.
Anyone else have this problem?
Do you think its just the heat or should I enlarge them?

Your fingers swell when its warm and shrink when its cold. If it hurts, then I would talk to the jeweler.
It shouldn't hurt.

Helen its definately the heat, I had a hard time getting mine off yesterday.

Your fingers swell in the heat.

My fingers are HUGE right now! It's crazy, my ring is so tight and I had to add my extra link to my watch today.

Drink lots of water..it helps a little.

My ring gets tight sometimes, but I've never had any bruising -- that would make me worry a bit!

I have never had them that tight where they bruised my finger. I would talk to your jeweler.

Did you bruise it taking it off? That's a possibility....
If it's still swelling, soak your hands in cold water, and use dish soap to get the ring off next time.

My ring is tight, too. But it never bruised my finger. I just have to really struggle to get it off, and on some days I have to soap it off. I'm going to wait until the fall/winter to see how it fits before I have it enlarged.

The bruising makes me think you might need to talk to the jeweler, though. Maybe it's not the weather and your rings really ARE too tight....

Everyone needs to make sure you drink A LOT of water in this heat- it will help bring down the swelling...

Yeah, it's the heat. My fingers are so swollen, I can't take them off!! I usually take them off at night when I go to bed, but the past week or two, I just can't take them off. I wouldn't change the size or anything, just be careful wearing them.
