My sister left today

for England She got 3 weeks off at home and left today. I dont really know how to feel...im really really proud of her but sad that she is on the other side of the world

I just hope she is going to be safe over there. Anyone in the Air Force know if I have to really worry about her

I can relate on how you feel. Two years ago my younger bro was sent to Iraq and it was hard for all of us. I thought he'll never make it to my wedding......but we are all proud of them - I am proud of you sister - she is very brave and she will be fine.

omg i would be so sad if my sister had to go that far away and for such a long period of time... i'm so sorry. i hope it goes as fast as it possibly can and i hope that you guys can communicate a lot-- that will make it easier. also, i hope she is as safe as can possibly be. i don't know anything about the air force or being over there -- but i'll send good vibes her way! that's so hard b/c sisters are like the best friends in the world.

From what I have heard she is going to be ok, but still-she is going to be all the way over there I hope she gets time to call all the time...I miss her and she has only been gone a few hours

i'm extremely close to my sisters--and its so tough when the yare far. my sister in the navy served almost a year in bahrain and then later spent 4 years in belgium---i only got to see her like 3x in 5 years at that point!! i was dying!

i'm sure your sis will be okay---at least there's email and such, hopefully she'll be able to stay in contact that way!

I am so sorry Peg I am so close to my sister and I would be devistated. Maybe you can go and vist her soon. I am sure she will find time to call you. She is doing a great thing, but i am sorry that she has left.
