My sister's wedding ~ Help from the Land's End Brides

Well, we looked at Land's End tonight, which she loooved. Our only question for you Land's End girls is about the wall on which the band/DJ sets up. We kept noticing how barren that wall is. Once the musicians are there, does that draw attention away from the naked wall? That was her one and only concern.

Thanks ladies!

I know exactly what you're talking about. We had a 9 piece band against that wall and it didn't look barren anymore! Also once the room is set up with all the tables and flowers, you don't notice anything else.

I highly recommend the place and the staff!

Thanks Lisa, that's what we figured. My sister just wants to be SURE. I told her I knew just where to come to get answers.

Thanks. My sister is planning on a DJ, so it's good to hear both of your experiences.

Jenn, did you sister look at Flowerfield? Just Curious? By the way Land's End is a fabulous choice!

Hi Christy,
My sister said Flowerfield was out of the question because I got married there. She doesn't want a 'do-over' of my wedding.
Thanks for the suggestion though!

Re: My sister's wedding ~ Help from the Land's End Brides

I was married at Land's End in Nov. 2001 and I had a DJ. Honestly, I do not even recall what that wall looked like during the reception, since the rest of the room is so beautiful. If she is concerned (and honestly, she should not be), I would recommend raised centerpieces.
