First, thank you to everyone for the suggestions and pics to go with them. I really appreciate it. I am so attached to my hair and never want to do anything drastic to it, so while I sort of wanted to do a real chop, I didn't. But it's shorter....More like it was before I grew it out for the wedding. I took everyone's advice and had her put layers in and then cut my bangs since they were so long you couldn't tell I had a side bang.

Congrats! I'm like you with being attached to my long hair. I will probably cut it some, but not do the 'chop.'
