I was just thinking about making a post ... how did you know it would be in tomorrow's paper? Do they contact you to confirm, etc?

BTW, are we talking about Newsday?

I totally kept forgetting to send ours and finally did about a week & half ago and I was wondering how I would find out if/when it would appear.

I saw it!! You look beautiful!! Congrats! I wanted to put mine in, but DH's mother abandoned him when he was younger and he does not want to take a chance that she will see it and be able to find him.

I have someone that I don't wish to track me down too but we put ours in but kept it very vague as to where we live or where I work. My DH works for a VERY large company.

Thank u everyone1 Yeah, it was in newsday on sunday. My mom actually went to their website and printed out the form and it was free. I sent it in like 3 weeks ago and it came out pretty fast. The lady called me and told me it was going to be in but my sister told me they don't normally tell you ahead of time. Guess i lucked out. If you don't want them to tell too much just leave the spot blank on the form and they won't print it. Everyone should do it, it's a great memory to have.

Mine was in Newsday a couple of weeks ago. They called me about 2 or 3 weeks before to confirm the information and they told me the date it would be in the paper
