My wedding video review - here you go Claud!!!
Hello my fellow newlyweds!!!
I picked up my wedding video the other night and of course ran home to watch it w/ hubby. DH did not want a video but we compromised and did pre-ceremony and ceremony coverage only. It was really hard to find someone who would do just that but thanks to all of you and the LIW vendors we found someone willing to do it.
We used Innovation Video, which is a subsidiary of Dr. Dance Entertainment and I have to say they did a really nice job considering I got married in a Lutheran Church and they are very strict w/ photography and video. (You are limited as to where you can stand and tape).
It was so great to actually hear the ceremony b/c I definitely didn't hear a word of it that day!!! I loved the fact that most of the receiving line was on the video. It was so great to see who was there and our reactions to people we hadn't seen in ages and those who made it to the church.
My DH especially enjoyed the footage at the house that morning b/c he said he was wondering what we did all morning LOL!! I enjoyed all the little things that were caught on tape like me turning to my father after our vows and begging him to stop crying (he was a basketcase the whole week), laughing at DH b/c he was sweating during the ceremony, and the two of us just staring and laughing at each other.
I didn't cry that day but for some reason I bawled my eyes out watching the video - it really was so emotional to sit back and see the day from a somewhat different perspective. I am soooo glad that we compromised on this b/c it really is nice to have. DH will never admit it but he enjoyed watching it - he just kept saying how beautiful I looked and that he loves me……..yeah, he got a little sappy :)
The nicest touch was that they gave me 2 tapes for our parents - I hadn't asked for one so it was a really nice surprise when I picked up the video. I can't wait to show them!!
So that is my review ladies - have a great weekend everyone!!!
