Not quite done yet b/c the weather prevented me from doing a few last finishing touches but here is what I did with a good part of my weekend.
I really scored with those chairs from Ikea. Only $24 dollars! I still need a table but couldnt find anything the right size and price. Im really into cooper so I got a few cooper tiki torches.
My back is really sore from laying down the astroturf stuff but it looks so much better and more 'summery' so Im happy.
Needs a few more plants and such but good enough for now. Too bad it rained all weekend, so I couldnt enjoy it much.

Re: My weekend project...
Wow, that is awesome. What a difference. I really like it. Now if it would only stop raining so I could plant my flowers!! I guess it'll have to wait until next weekend.
wow...I didn't see those chairs when we went to IKEA!!
We are trying to find some kind of seating arrangement for our back patio...
nice job stef...Luke needs to give you a back message as a reward!!!

Re: My weekend project...
Great job! What a world of a difference!!
I did the astroturf on the patio of my old apartment. It's amazing how it brightens up the space.
What do you plan on planting? Do you have yard to plant in or are you doing everything in containers?
Enjoy

Re: My weekend project...
Ss: I do have a yard but all the dirt that back there is devoted to Lukes vegatable garden - so I dont touch that. I also have a front yard where I plant a few things.
As for the plants here, I want to add a few more containers that have stuff spilling over the edges a bit. Nothing too complicated b/c I have a black thumb.
